Books, history (18th and 19th centuries mostly), Red Wings hockey, comics, Doctor Who, musicals, and hockey in general are some of my ultimate fandoms. Also pretty people, snow, and my home state

Right now I'm a little obsessed with Les Miserables. I've been a little obsessed with Les Miserables since the 5th grade, but intensity levels come and go.

Much of my time is spent in a library where I was once asked to teach a course on Tumblr to senior citizens and had to leave the room because I was laughing so hard.

"I’m going to miss him for sure. He’s been my best friend, he took care of me when I came into the league, helped me get a car and get a place to live. He really took care of me and showed me the ropes. He’s been a great leader. It’s been a lot of fun, a good run, we’ve won, and there have been a lot of laughs. It’s funny, but over the last few years he’s been working out more than he ever did to keep up. He’s always been in great shape and always driving. When I said I was tired, he would be picking me up. He’s had a great career and it’s a sad day for the Red Wings. But I’ve been fortunate to have played with him."
